How do I do a free background check on myself?
I was told I have something listed yet I have never been in trouble. I have no money so please help me if you know a free way to check my criminal record

Depends on the state. Generally, records of arrests and of convictions are public information. In addition, you have a right to see some things that the public can’t see. There should be no charge for looking at them. There may be a charge for photocopies or printouts. But you should be entitled to a free copy if you were denied employment because of a criminal background check.
Go to a county criminal court, find the records division or office, and ask to see your record.
Also go to the municipal courts of all the towns where you think you may have been charged.
No records system is entirely error-free. People enter data, and make mistakes: names, addresses, etc. Or there may have been someone else with the same name, even the same date of birth. You have to see it to know for sure what’s really there.

you can’t do for free but you can for payment
